Who we are

What we collect

• Enquiries. When you use our enquiry form or email us: your name, email, company and what you tell us about your project.
• Newsletter. If you sign up: your name and email address.
• Website use. If you accept analytics cookies: how you use the site, such as pages visited and the type of device.

We don't collect payment details on this website. Itineraries, merch and discounted tours are booked on our partners' own websites.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, before any agreement is made.
• To send our newsletter, based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it, based on your consent to analytics cookies.

Who else handles it

We use a few trusted services to run the site: Squarespace (website, forms and analytics) and Flodesk (newsletter). Some of them store data in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.

When you click an affiliate or discount link, you leave our site. The company you visit may use its own cookies to know you came from us, and its own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we're talking or working together, and up to two years after our last contact. If we work together, invoices and accounting records are kept for seven years, as Icelandic law requires. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

We only set the cookies the site needs to work, unless you accept analytics cookies in the banner. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Just email info@kraftarmedia.com.
